NHL Announces Available, Protected Lists for 2021 Expansion Draft

By @StefanKubus –

The NHL officially announced the lists of available and protected players for the 2021 Expansion Draft.

Some surprising names around the league, such as Montreal netminder Carey Price, were left unprotected and available for the Kraken to choose.

The official lists for both protected and available talent from the Detroit Red Wings can be found below. It seems most likely the Kraken select a player like Luke Glendening, Troy Stecher or perhaps Dennis Cholowski.

The 2021 Expansion Draft is set for Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN2 in the U.S.
