MAHA seeking Hockey Operations Manager as organization’s first paid position

The Michigan Amateur Hockey Association is looking to fill its first-ever full-time paid position within the organization.

The state’s governing body for ice hockey is seeking a Hockey Operations Manager beginning in the approaching 2019-20 season.

As per the listing on MAHA’s website, he or she who fills the role will “oversee day-to-day operations, and support the growth and well-being of the organization. Primary duties the first year will include managing and administering player safety and SafeSport issues as well as developing and managing the corporate partnership program.

“Other responsibilities include, overseeing programs that increase hockey participation and managing the overall communications plan of the organization… This position requires the ability to travel, work evenings and weekends as required.”

MAHA is hoping to fill the position by Oct. 1.
