Red Wings begin 2019 Street Hockey Tour at Chevy Plaza outside Little Caesars Arena

The Detroit Red Wings kicked off the team’s annual Street Hockey Summer Tour Tuesday morning right outside Little Caesars Arena.

Set up within the confines of the Chevy Plaza, the kick-off event of the fourth annual street hockey series of events welcomed youth players of all skill sets to downtown Detroit. Participants took part in an hour-long clinic, followed by a 30-minute pick-up street hockey game.

Each stop on the tour – the Wings will host seven more throughout the state – offers two sessions; one for children ages 7-9 and one for ages 10-12. More info about the tour can be found here.
