Report: Patrick Khodorenko signs with New York Rangers; Rosburg to Dallas

According to TSN’s Frank Seravalli, Michigan State star Patrick Khodorenko is trading in his green and white threads and returning to red, white and blue.

Khodorenko, who played for USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program before coming to East Lansing, is signing with the New York Rangers, per the report.

A native of Walnut Creek, Calif., Khodorenko originally moved to Michigan in 2012 to spend two seasons with HoneyBaked before joining the NTDP.

Khodorenko finished his senior season with 16 goals and 16 assists for 32 total points. Over his four seasons with the Spartans, he registered 53 goals and 65 assists for 118 total points.

Rosburg to Dallas

Khodorenko isn’t the only Spartan to sign today; Jerad Rosburg has inked a deal with the Dallas Stars.

 

In 141 games with the Spartans, he registered 55 points – most from a MSU blueliner since Torey Krug.

Rosburg will be report to the Texas Stars, the Stars’ AHL affiliate.
