PHOTOS: Red Wings “embarrassing” in 8-1 loss to Montreal

Niklas Kronwall called it “embarrassing” after the contest, and nobody was going to argue with him. The Red Wings lost to the Montreal Canadiens by a final score of 8-1 Tuesday night at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. It was a deflating Red Wings debut for defenseman Madison Bowey and second NHL game for Filip Zadina. The thrashing from the fellow Original Six franchise was Detroit’s sixth straight loss.
