Red Wings record first regulation and home win of 2018-19 with 4-2 victory over Dallas

The Red Wings crossed two important things off their to-do list Sunday evening.

They recorded their first win in regulation for the 2018-19 season, and they recorded their first win at Little Caesars Arena of the season, as well.

Detroit did so by beating Jim Nill’s Dallas Stars 4-2 Sunday, thanks to goals from Anthony Mantha, Tyler Bertuzzi, Jonathan Ericsson and Justin Abdelkader.

Jonathan Bernier recorded his first victory in a Red Wings uniform, stopping 28 of the 30 shots sent his way.
