Keeghan Howdeshell dazzles with highlight-reel goal in OHL playoffs

By @StefanKubus –

With his Soo Greyhounds already up 6-0 on Saginaw in Game 2 of their opening-round OHL playoff series, Keeghan Howdeshell pulled off what’s sure to be one of the postseason’s best goals.

Howdeshell, a Brighton native, skated behind the net and had time to perform the Mike Legg ‘Michigan’ lacrosse-style move from behind the net with just over nine minutes left in the game.

An alumnus of USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program, the Muskegon Lumberjacks and Compuware, that goal marked his second of the playoffs in as many games. His regular season with the Greyhounds saw him pot 16 goals and 36 points in 61 games.
