ESPN announces regular-season NCAA hockey coverage to go along with Frozen Four
By @MichaelCaples –
There’s a heavy Michigan flavor in the ESPN broadcast schedule this year, as the sports network has announced its slate of regular-season NCAA games to go along with its coverage of college hockey’s national regionals and Frozen Four action.
Michigan alum Sean Ritchlin will be the color commentator for the regular-season games, while the play-by-play duties will rotate through John Buccigross and Kevin Brown.
On Dec. 1, ESPNU will air Michigan’s game in Penn State, and then eight days later, ESPNEWS will air the Wolverines’ home contest against Wisconsin.
On March 3, ESPNEWS will air a showdown between Minnesota and Michigan at Yost, and then seven days later air a Michigan State game in Minnesota.
