Cooper Marody named State of Michigan’s college hockey MVP

Each season, College Hockey Inc. names a college hockey player as each state’s most valuable player to kick off their own Hockey Weekend Across America celebration.

This year’s honor goes to University of Michigan forward and Brighton native Cooper Marody.

Marody is tied for sixth in the NCAA scoring race with 41 points. His 29 assists is tied for fifth.

 

 
Other notable selections by College Hockey Inc. include Western Michigan’s Dawson DiPietro – the MVP of Ohio – and Michigan State’s Jerad Rosburg – the MVP of Maryland.
