Jason Robertson’s used to moving around.

He’ll be packing his bags again soon to join his new NHL organization.

The Dallas Stars selected Robertson, a Northville native, in the second round of the 2017 NHL Draft Saturday morning in Chicago.

Robertson, who moved to Michigan when he was 10 years old, played for Little Caesars 14U in 2012-13 and the Detroit Kings 15U team in 2013-14 – his last two seasons in Michigan.

After that, he moved to the Toronto area to play for the Don Mills Flyers minor midget squad, with the goal of playing in the OHL in mind. Mission accomplished, as he has spent the last two seasons with the Kingston Frontenacs. Robertson racked up 81 points in 68 games this past season as his draft stock continued to build.
