PHOTOS: Third-period comeback gives Griffins a Game 3 win over San Jose

The Griffins were trailing 2-1 when the third period started Wednesday night. When the final buzzer sounded, they were up 4-2. Matt Lorito scored on a deke after a scramble in front of the Barracuda goal at the 6:40 mark of the third, and 10 minutes later, Mitch Callahan got his stick on a rebound to give the Griffins the go-ahead goal. An empty-netter from Tomas Nosek sealed the deal for the Griffins, who take a 2-1 series lead over San Jose in the AHL Western Conference Finals. Captain Nathan Paetsch scored in the first period, and Jared Coreau stopped 31 shots for another victory between the pipes. (Photos by Michael Caples/MiHockey)
