Boys High School Hockey Players of the Week: Mar. 2 (presented by Lawrence Tech Hockey)

HS Hockey coverageThe Michigan High School Hockey Coaches’ Association and Lawrence Tech Hockey have teamed up to create new players of the week and players of the month awards, and they have formed a selection committee to help with the process.

Each week, the committee members will take the top nominated players by their respective coaches and high school programs and rank the individual performances. From there, players will be selected from their respective divisions as ‘players of the week.’

MiHockey editor Michael Caples is one of the committee members.

Here are the latest Lawrence Tech Hockey High School Players of the Week (for games played from Feb. 22-28). Winners per region are in bold, honorable mentions are in italics.


North Region: Kristian Jackson, Senior Forward, Marquette

Honorable Mention: Adam Jeannotte (Sr. Forward, Cheboygan), Calvin Pinar (Sr. Defenseman, Escanaba)

 

South Region: Cameron Milne, Senior Forward, Dexter

Honorable Mention: Ethan Pietz (Sr. Forward, Saline), Grant Smith (Jr. Forward, Jackson Lumen Christi)

 

Central Region: Noah Hall, Sophomore Goaltender, Grand Blanc

Honorable Mention: Brandon Ashley (Jr. Forward, Saginaw Heritage), Alex Farrell (Sr. Forward, Midland Dow)

 

West Region: Adam Brayton, Junior Forward, Rockford

Honorable Mention: Michael Barnes (Sr. Forward, East Kentwood), Connor McAdams (So. Forward, Big Rapids)

 

Metro East Region: James Burtka, Junior Defenseman, Rochester Stoney Creek

Metro West Region: Tristan Rehling, Junior Goaltender, Salem
