Red Wings announce details for Nick Lidstrom Hall of Fame Night

Tonight, the Red Wings are throwing another party for No. 5.

The Original Six club will recognize Nick Lidstrom’s achievement of entering the Hockey Hall of Fame when they play the Columbus Blue Jackets at Joe Louis Arena on Feb. 23.

Lidstrom will participate in a ceremonial puck drop prior to the game (which is on NBC Sports Network) and several in-game videos will showcase Lidstrom’s career and HHOF induction.

All fans in attendance will receive a one-of-a-kind Nick Lidstrom collectible print, and they will have the opportunity to sign a “Congratulations Nick” card on the Joe Louis Arena concourse.

Fans are encouraged to use the hashtag #NickNight, as well.

Lidstrom Hall of Fame lapel pins, pucks and autographed Lidstrom jerseys and game pucks with the signature including “HHOF 2015” will also be available for purchase. Hockeytown Authentics will take phone orders on Tuesday until 10 p.m., or while supplies last.
