U.S. World Junior camp roster announced; six Michigan names included

USA Hockey announced the 26 players they have invited to their World Junior training camp, which will take place Dec. 15-18 in Minneapolis, Minn. Six Michigan connections will receive invitations. They are:

  • Riley Barber – forward – Miami RedHawks – Livonia native (returning from last year’s gold-medal winning WJC team)
  • Connor Carrick – defenseman – Hersey Bears (AHL) – NTDP, Plymouth Whalers alum
  • J.T. Compher – forward – University of Michigan Wolverines
  • Andrew Copp – forward – University of Michigan Wolverines – Ann Arbor native
  • Ryan Hartman – forward – Plymouth Whalers – (returning from last year’s gold-medal winning WJC team)
  • Tyler Motte – forward – University of Michigan Wolverines – St. Clair native
