Sauce Hockey, one of the top lifestyle apparel companies in the hockey market, announced today via their official Facebook account that they are teaming up with Red Wings superstar Pavel Datsyuk to create a new signature line of clothing.

“It is with extreme excitement that we have aligned with arguably the greatest hockey player in the world today, Pavel Datsyuk,” said Sauce co-founder and CEO Eric Kleineck in the release. “Datsyuk’s reputation amongst fans and his peers is impeccable. We look forward to growing his personal brand and telling his story through our products. With the first line covered with Pavel Datsyuk and the fourth line covered with Paul Bissonnette, we are now accepting applications for second and third liners.

In the same release, Datsyuk said he and Sauce Hockey will be working on more than just clothing.

“I am pleased to collaborate with such a creative company as Sauce Hockey,” Datsyuk said. “I look forward to being involved in the development of my new line of apparel products and hand sanitizer for hockey players with dirty hands.”
