The American Flag is incorporated into the shoulders of the jersey with matte/shine stars, and with the striping on both home and away models. The message “Land of the Free, Home of the Brave” is embroidered into the inside neckline.

The USA Hockey crest – larger than usual, according to a press release – is designed to reflect the 1980s look of the Americans’ jersey, while the right sleeve will pay homage to the gold medals captured in 1960 and 1980.

Technology featured inside the jersey:

  • Nike Flywire is used in the neck area.
  • Reduced seaming makes the jersey lighter and gives it a more blocked look.
  • It’s environmentally friendly – each jersey is made from about 17 recycled plastic bottles, while the socks use five.
  • The jerseys featured zoned ventilation and articulated sleeves for ventilation and limited restrictions on movement.
