Well, it sounds like the Coyotes will be staying in Glendale after all. A city vote last night voted in favor of a new lease agreement for the NHL team’s home, which means for the time being at least, hockey will still be played in the desert. There’s also a possibility that the team will now be called the Arizona Coyotes. Thoughts? Leave it in the ‘comments’ section.

Vinny Lecavalier has chosen the Philadelphia Flyers. How they will find the money for a goaltender, I do not know.

The Penguins have re-signed Kris Letang to an eight-year deal, and they have also locked down Pascal Dupuis.

Toronto has used a compliance buy-out on former Wolverines defenseman Mike Komisarek.

Michael Downing talks to Panthers TV about being drafted by the Florida club.

Have a safe and happy holiday weekend, everyone.
