Shaved Ice – May 28

Not the best of nights for Hockeytown…

The Red Wings failed to eliminate the Blackhawks last night, and that means they have to head back to the United Center for a Game 7 tomorrow night.

Game 7 starts at 8 p.m. ET tomorrow. Have your game face ready, Hockeytown.

The Griffins have their first of three games in Oklahoma City tomorrow, as they try to regain control of their Western Conference Finals match-up against the Barons. Grand Rapids won Game 1 by a 2-1 score last Friday, but then lost Game 2 the following night.

Torey Krug’s four goals in the Bruins’ 4-1 series win over the Rangers. More on him in a second.

OK, more on Torey Krug. The Livonia native is our Michi-gamer for the weekend after scoring again for the Bruins, and prompting a #LegendOfKrug hashtag to blow up on Twitter.

The Bruins will now take on the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Eastern Conference Finals. They’re waiting for the West semis to wrap up.

One of those semifinals will be wrapped up tonight, as the Sharks and the Kings do battle in Game 7 of their series. Who you taking? I think the Kings will pull it out.

Hope everybody had a great Memorial Day weekend. Can’t wait for tomorrow.
