Tonight. Game 4. 8 p.m. can’t get here fast enough.

The Red Wings and Blackhawks do battle in Game 4 of their Western Conference Semifinals match-up tonight, with the opening face-off scheduled for around 8 p.m.

More bad news for Darren Helm – the Red Wings’ forward had another setback in his return to the ice.

In some better injury news, Danny DeKeyser is making progress, and hasn’t ruled out returning before the end of the playoffs.

The Griffins have the Oklahoma City Barons next on the schedule – for the Western Conference Finals. In case you were wondering, OKC has no Michigan natives on the roster.

Detroit will hold a “Fill A Boot” fundraiser during tomorrow’s game, with all funds donated to the Westland Fire Fighters Charity’s fund for the family of fallen firefighter Brian Woehlke, who passed away while battling a Westland fire on May 8. If you’re going to the game, chip in.

James Neal had a decent night. Two goals and an assist to help the Penguins to a 7-3 win over Ottawa makes him our Michi-gamer of the night. Check it out right here.

Daniel Alfredsson might get some heat for this one. The Sens’ captain said “probably not” when he was asked if his team could win three straight against the Penguins. Check out this Puck Daddy post for more on that.

Three games on the NHL schedule tonight – Red Wings/Blackhawks, Bruins/Rangers and Sharks/Kings.

For the Bruins, they can clinch a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals with a win. The Sharks and Kings, meanwhile, will be fighting for a series lead, as they’re all tied up at two games apiece.
