Shaved Ice – April 3

Hope you survived your Monday.

Quick hits

The Red Wings take on the Central Division champion St. Louis Blues tomorrow night at the Scottrade Center. Detroit, holding onto fourth place by a single point (they have 99 on the season), has division foes Nashville and Chicago waiting for them to slip up. Both the Predators and the Blackhawks have 98 points. The Wings and the Predators have three games remaining on their schedule, while the Blackhawks only have two – the last of which is against the Wings.

Kyle Quincey won’t be available for the Red Wings tomorrow, as he has been given a one-game suspension for his hit on Tomas Kopecky Sunday night.

The conference semifinal schedules have been announced for the Whalers and Spirit. See them right here.

The Frozen Four is just days away. Get ready for college hockey’s biggest stage with this preview from our friends at USCHO.
