If you’re a high school hockey fan, Thanksgiving Eve is a busy day. High school rivalries play out across the state, and one of the best is the annual Turkey Day tune-up between Brother Rice and Detroit Catholic Central. A standing room-only crowd filled the Mitchel Kiefer Memorial Rink inside USA Hockey Arena last Wednesday for the annual rivalry contest, and Brother Rice spoiled the party, as the visitors won 5-2.
