PHOTOS: NTDP Under-17 Team’s first practice in Plymouth

The start of the 2019-2020 school year means a new freshman class for the USA Hockey National Team Development Program. This week, the 2003 birth-year edition of the NTDP Under-17 Team is settling in at USA Hockey Arena, and Tuesday marked the team’s first official practice on the ice in Plymouth. Check out MiHockey’s photos from the team’s first skate in the Red, White and Blue at USA Hockey Arena, as well as some images of the ’02 group, which has moved up to be the new NTDP Under-18 Team.

The NTDP Under-17 Team features eight players who competed for Michigan Tier 1 teams last season, and nine total Michigan names. They play their first home game at USA Hockey Arena on Oct. 11 against the Muskegon Lumberjacks.
