L.J. Scarpace named new video coach of Detroit Red Wings

And the list of Michigan natives joining the Detroit Red Wings’ staff just continues to grow…

We’ve been watching the Red Wings’ staff webpage updates today, and alongside the promotion for Adam Nightingale and the hiring of Phil Osaer comes the addition of L.J. Scarpace as the team’s new video coach.

Scarpace, a Dearborn native and University of Michigan alum, has spent the last two seasons in the same capacity for the Carolina Hurricanes.

Prior to that, he spent three seasons as the Wolverines’ director of player development.
