PHOTOS: Wolverines beat Penn State in a Thursday night battle at Yost

Two days before playing them at Madison Square Garden, the Wolverines welcomed Penn State to Yost Ice Arena in Ann Arbor for a Thursday night contest. Thanks to a four-goal outburst in the second period, Michigan coasted to a 5-1 victory. Dakota Raabe, Jake Slaker, Nicholas Boka and Will Lockwood all scored in the middle frame, while Garrett Van Wyhe added the empty-netter to seal the deal for Michigan.
