PHOTOS: Red Wings vs. Maple Leafs

For their second home game of the 2018-19 season, the Red Wings hosted Original Six rival Toronto for a Thursday night battle at Little Caesars Arena. The visitors prevailed, as Mike Babcock’s Maple Leafs topped Detroit 5-3 – thanks in large part to two goals from USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program famed alum Auston Matthews, who now has nine on the young season. Nick Jensen scored twice for the Wings, while Dylan Larkin added his second of the season to spark a late rally for Detroit. (Photos by Michael Caples/MiHockey)
