MMGHSHL state playoffs set for March 5-10

While the boys’ high school playoffs are underway, the girls’ march to state supremacy is just around the corner.

The Michigan Metro Girls High School Hockey League playoffs are set to begin Monday, March 5 and conclude with the Division 1 and Division 2 championship games on Saturday, March 10.

The full schedule is as follows:

Monday, 3/5 >> Division 1

6:00 – Seed 1 vs. Seed 8

6:00 – Seed 2 vs. Seed 7

8:00 – Seed 3 vs. Seed 6

8:15 – Seed 4 vs. Seed 5

 

Tuesday, 3/6 >> Division 2 (seed 9 gets bye, plays highest number seed left in semi)

6:15 – Seed 10 vs. Seed 15

6:30 – Seed 11 vs. Seed 14

8:15 – Seed 12 vs. Seed 13

 

Wednesday, 3/7 >> D1 Semifinals

5:45 – D1 Semifinal

7:45 – D1 Semifinal

 

Thursday, 3/8 >> D2 Semifinals

6:15 – D2 Semifinal

8:15 – D2 Semifinal

 

Saturday, 3/10 >> Championship

3:15 – D2 Final
