The Detroit Red Wings welcomed their old friends the Colorado Avalanche to Little Caesars Arena for the first time Sunday evening, and the visitors spoiled the party. The Avs erased a 3-1 deficit in the third period, and Nathan MacKinnon scored in overtime to give them the road win. Justin Abdelkader, Andreas Athanasiou and Niklas Kronwall scored for the Wings.
