Red Wings’ home opener slated for Oct. 5

Fans can now plan accordingly for the first-ever official regular-season game at Little Caesars Arena.

The Red Wings will play the Minnesota Wild on Oct. 5 at their new building in Detroit.

The full schedule for the Wings’ 2017-18 season will be announced tomorrow.

It also appears that Detroit has revealed a new logo for their inaugural season at LCA. Check out the graphic below.
