As originally reported by Elliotte Friedman of Hockey Night in Canada, the Red Wings have reacquired one of their prospects after losing him on waivers.

The Wings have claimed forward Martin Frk, who was originally waived by Detroit and picked up by Carolina at the start of the season.

The 49th overall pick in the 2012 Draft by Detroit, Frk spent two seasons bouncing between Grand Rapids and Toledo, then spent the full 2015-16 campaign with the Griffins, recording 44 points in 67 games.
