Red Wings send seven players back to junior teams

The Red Wings announced today that they have sent seven players from their training camp back to their respective junior clubs.

Jordan Sambrook is the lone player who officially belongs to the organization – he was a fifth-round pick in 2016. The others, all listed below, were released from their tryout agreements with the team.

The following players have been assigned:

Stephen Dhillon
Luke Coleman
Connor Hicks
Dylan Coghlan
Jeff de Wit
Justin Brazeau
Jordan Sambrook

The Red Wings’ roster now stands at 56 players as they approach their Red and White game to conclude training camp and begin the NHL preseason.
