Today, USA Hockey announced its new director of player personnel for the National Team Development Program.

Jeremiah Crowe, a Buffalo native and Clarkson University hockey alum, has been promoted to fill the position left by Ryan Hardy.

Crowe served as the assistant director of player personnel for Plymouth’s NTDP last season.

“Jeremiah is an experienced evaluator and recruiter,” said Scott Monaghan, senior director of hockey operations for the NTDP. “We look forward to his efforts in continuing to build the U.S. talent pool.”

The position is of significance for the youth hockey community, as Crowe oversees identification, evaluation and recruitment of potential players for the NTDP. Crowe will be responsible for scouting, planning and the implementation of the NTDP Tryout Camp in the spring – all if which shape who will be selected for the coveted NTDP Under-17 Team.

Prior to joining the NTDP in 2015-16, Crowe was a coach at the Academy of Hockey at HARBORCENTER in Buffalo, where he helped implement training and development curriculums for all positions and skill levels, as well as coaching education programs for adults in the area.

Crowe has served as a scout for the USHL’s Dubuque Fighting Saints, and he spent three seasons (2011-14) as an assistant coach for Buffalo State.
