The USHL announced the 30-man rosters and affiliate lists for all of its member clubs today, which means the first official look at the Muskegon Lumberjacks’ roster for the upcoming season.

The Lumberjacks (and the rest of the USHL teams) will have to trim the roster to 23 by Sept. 19, however, so seven more roster moves are coming.

Some of the Lumberjacks’ roster highlights include Colin Adams (Brighton, New York Islanders draftee), Scooter Brickey (Burtchville, All-American Prospects Game invitee, Western Michigan commit), Derek Daschke (Troy, Western Michigan commit), Grant Gabriele (Brighton, Western Michigan commit, NTDP alum), Keeghan Howdeshell (Brighton, Ferris commit, NTDP alum), Kenny Johnson (Ann Arbor, Michigan commit) and Andrei Svechnikov (top 2017 draft prospect, brother of Red Wings’ first-round pick Evgeny).

Reigning USHL player of the year Rem Pitlick still appears on the list, but he has announced that he will be playing for Minnesota (NCAA) this year.

Here is the Lumberjacks’ roster, as it stands today.
