By @MichaelCaples –

On Aug. 14, Kevin Porter is bringing the Stanley Cup back to his old stomping grounds to share with the local hockey community.

The Pittsburgh Penguins forward will use part of his day with Lord Stanley’s Cup on Aug. 14 to celebrate with fans at Kellogg Park in Plymouth.

The Cup – and Porter, the former Hobey Baker winner at Michigan (as well as a USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program alum) – will be available for photos and autographs from 10 to noon.

The event is sponsored by Westborn Market.

Porter was one of seven Michigan names (and one of four Michigan natives) on the Penguins’ Stanley Cup championship roster.

congrats boys
