Zach Werenski picked a heck of a time to score his fourth goal of the postseason.

The Grosse Pointe native scored the series-clinching goal for his Lake Erie Monsters Monday night in Grand Rapids, breaking a 3-3 tie in overtime against the Griffins.

Here’s the goal:

It was Werenski’s second game-winning goal of the series, after the University of Michigan and USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program alum scored the last goal of a 2-1 win on Mother’s Day for Lake Erie.

The win gives the Monsters a series win in six games, avoiding a winner-take-all Game 7 in the process.
