No, this isn’t a copy/paste job.

Last week, Michigan natives Kyle Connor and Nick Schilkey claimed the top two spots on the Big Ten weekly stars list.

They did it once again this week, just flipping spots between No. 1 and No. 2.

This time around, Schilkey, a junior forward with the Ohio State Buckeyes and Marysville native, was named the conference’s first star, after he posted his second straight five-point weekend. Schilkey, one of the Buckeyes’ captains, recorded three goals and two assists as OSU grabbed four points in a series against Wisconsin.

Meanwhile, Connor, a freshman forward with the Wolverines and a Shelby Township native, earned the second star of the week, after recording three points in a series split with Minnesota. Connor built on his NCAA scoring lead, upping his points total to 54 (26 goals, 26 assists), when he posted his ninth multi-goal game of the season in a 6-2 win on Thursday and added an assist on Saturday.

It was Connor’s sixth weekly award, and Schilkey’s third.
