Yesterday, we announced plenty of NCHA awards for the Adrian College men’s program.

Today, it’s the girls’ program’s turn.

Bulldogs coach Chad Davis was named NCHA coach of the year for the second straight season, while rookie forward Brooke Lupi was named freshman of the year.

Lupi, a native of Dexter, recorded 16 goals and 16 assists for 32 points in her first year with Adrian. She racked up 23 points in 18 conference games, along with two game-winning goals.
