Red Wings and Avalanche Stadium Series alumni game rosters announced

The first batch of rosters for the Red Wings vs. Avalanche outdoor game is here, and fans won’t be disappointed.

Listed among the players slated to participate in the Stadium Series event – taking place on Friday, Feb. 26 at Coors Field in Denver – include Colorado’s Claude Lemieux, Joe Sakic, Peter Forsberg and Patrick Roy, and Detroit’s Joe Kocur, Kirk Maltby, Nick Lidstrom and Kris Draper.

The most notable absence at this point is Darren McCarty. Hopefully D-Mac appears on the roster as it gets updated throughout the next month.
