West Michigan Special Hockey Association wins $10K grant

The West Michigan Special Hockey Association just got some major new funding.

Announced on Saturday, the West Michigan Patriots and their WMSHA organization found out that they were the winners of UTC’s ‘Give Back To Special Hockey’ video contest, collecting more than 15,000 votes over a six-week voting process.

From the UTC Facebook post:

Well, it’s official. With over 15,000 votes received after 6 weeks of voting, CONGRATULATIONS to the WEST MICHIGAN PATRIOTS special hockey team who just won the UCT Gives Back To Special Hockey Video Contest and $10,000!!!! UCT is so proud of your remarkable efforts of getting the word out and so honored to give back to such an amazing cause and team.
