Red Wings announce upper-body injury for Dylan Larkin

Looks like the New Jersey Devils’ aggressive play before Christmas may have indeed gotten to Dylan Larkin.

The Red Wings announced today that their 19-year-old budding star is out with an upper-body injury. He will not play for the Wings when they take on the Predators tonight in Nashville.

Larkin was the subject of a series of hits and physical play in the Wings’ 4-3 loss to New Jersey in Detroit on Dec. 22.
