On Dec. 17, Red Wings forwards Justin Abdelkader and Luke Glendening hosted a shopping spree and a pizza party for 20 children at the new Meijer location in Detroit. In a partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Southeast Michigan, the two Michigan-born Red Wings players helped each child spend $150 for their holiday shopping spree.
