Red Wings announce latest roster cuts; four placed on injured reserve

The Red Wings announced another batch of roster cuts today, as they progress towards their opening night roster. They also placed a few players on injured reserve.

Additionally, as TSN’s Bob McKenzie reported Sunday morning, Mitch Callahan, Andy Miele and Brian Lashoff were placed on waivers, which opens the door for any team to claim any one of those three names. Those three currently remain on the Wings’ 27-man active roster, as does Waterford native Dylan Larkin.
