Red Wings fan arrested after apparently trying to light Lightning flag on fire at Game 7

According to a report from the Tampa Tribune, one Red Wings fan at Game 7 last night got herself into quite a bit of trouble.

Lena Sinishtaj, a 35-year-old from Sterling Heights, is facing arson charges in Florida after apparently attempting to set fire to a huge Lightning flag being passed over the crowd before puck drop last night.

According to the Tampa Tribune report and the related jail records, Tampa police arrested Sinishtaj at 7:45 p.m., which means that she missed almost the entire game.

There were an estimated 200 people under the flag when she held a lighter to it, but she was only able to cause a small burn.

She is facing first-degree arson of an occupied structure charges, and she is held without bond.

Puck Daddy has apparently found her Twitter account (you can see that here, but we warn you that there’s some inappropriate content in her header photo). Apparently she was staying at the same hotel as the Red Wings while in Tampa, as she has posted a photo of Mike Babcock at the valet and a video of Danny DeKeyser autographing a jersey.
