The Detroit Red Wings will hold their annual prospects development camp at Centre ICE Arena in Traverse City this July for the fourth consecutive year.

The camp, which will run from July 4-8, will have practices open to the public, as well as an intrasquad scrimmage on July 5. Tickets will be available at Centre ICE Arena for $5 per day on each day of the event.

The list of participants for the camp will be announced at a later date. It is often the first time fans can see drafted players on the ice with their new organization.

The past three development camps have featured 13 players who made their Red Wings debuts over the last two seasons: Adam Almquist, Mitch Callahan, Danny DeKeyser (Clay Township), Landon Ferraro, Luke Glendening (Grand Rapids), Tomas Jurco, Brian Lashoff, Alexey Marchenko, Petr Mrazek, Gustav Nyquist, Xavier Ouellet, Teemu Pulkkinen and Ryan Sproul.

Centre ICE has been the home of Red Wings’ events since 1997, including the summer development camp and the NHL Prospects Tournament.
