The Michigan State Spartans welcomed the U.S. NTDP Under-18 Team to Munn Ice Arena in East Lansing Saturday night for an exhibition contest. Spartan commits Ed Minney and Dylan Pavelek suited up for the NTDP, as did Wolverines commit Dylan Larkin. The NTDP prevailed 4-3 in overtime.

During the first intermission of the contest, the Spartan hockey program welcomed Lansing area youth teams onto the ice, as part of Hockey Weekend Across America.
