Anastos picks up another Hockey East rookie of the month award

She won it in October and she won it in November.

After sharing the Hockey East rookie of the month award with somebody else in December, Anastos reclaimed it this week, as she was named the league’s best freshman for the month of January.

Anastos recorded nine points and a +5 rating over seven games last month. The Farmington Hills native, a 5-foot-8 forward, is averaging a point per game, which ranks second in the nation. She’s also currently on a six-game point streak.
