Shaved Ice – May 9

Well, the lack of sleep’s a little more frustrating when the Wings don’t get the OT win…

The Wings had everybody in Hockeytown stay up late and be exhausted for work or school only to lose in overtime in Game 5. Here’s our quick recap from the contest. The loss puts the Wings on the brink of elimination; Detroit will have to win on home ice tomorrow night to force a Game 7 back in Anaheim.

USA Hockey announced the goaltenders participating in the prestigious Warren Strelow National Team Goaltending Camp today, with plenty of Michigan names featured on the list.

The Griffins get back to work tomorrow night, taking on the Toronto Marlies in the Western Conference semifinals. Here’s the team preview for the upcoming series.

Wings highlights, if you dare…

Carey Price is out for at least the rest of the Canadiens’ first-round match-up…and it could mean the Habs will have an early start to their summer.

Wonder what the Vancouver Canucks are doing right now…

Sidney Crosby, Alex Ovechkin and Marty St. Louis are the finalists for the Ted Lindsay Award, the MVP as chosen by the players.

Drama, drama, drama in the wives’ room?

And now we take you back to happier times, like when the Red Wings won in OT a few nights ago.

Wonder what we’ll come up with next…
