The Abderdeen Wings of the North American Hockey League announced today that goaltender Zach Nagelvoort has committed to the Michigan Wolverines.

Nagelvoort tweeted that he will be joining the Wolverines next fall.

The Holland, Mich., native was named NAHL goaltender of the month in March, after posting an 8-1-1 record with Abdeerdeen after being traded from the Soo Eagles.

“We are extremely proud and excited for Zach to continue his career at the University of Michigan,” said Aberdeen head coach Travis Winter via NAHL.com.  “He will have the opportunity to play for one of the best hockey programs in the country and study at a great university. We wish him the best of luck in his future.”
