Speaking of the Red Wings, sounds like Henrik Zetterberg’s got the support of his teammates in terms of replacing Nick Lidstrom as the club’s captain (from the Detroit Free Press).

And speaking of Zetterberg, the Swedish hockey star helped with the release of Royal Swedish Snowballs, a treat sold in the United States for the first time yesterday (from the Detroit News).

Damien Brunner is going to play in Grand Rapids if the lockout does happen, so he can adjust to North American hockey as quickly as possible, according to Ansar Khan.
