Red Wings assign 22 players to Grand Rapids

The Red Wings just announced that they officially have assigned 22 players to Grand Rapids. In most seasons, NHL clubs slowly send players back as they weed them out during pre-season games. But, with a lockout looming, it was with one quick swoop that the players have been sent to the AHL team. Here’s the list of players sent down, which also gives an insight as to which Red Wings will skate in the AHL during the lockout:
