The Detroit Red Wings have signed a two-year affiliation agreement with the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL.

Red Wings netminder Jimmy Howard donated money to purchase a new set of uniforms for every player in the Ogdensburg Minor Hockey Association, the same association that Howard worked through as a youth.

The Michigan Mustangs of the Wheelchair Hockey League (WCHL) will be representing Michigan in the 2012 North American PowerHockey Cup this weekend. We wish them the best of luck!
